An AI consultancy is a bench, not one person: several consultants, each with their own skills, certifications and calendar, all selling one firm’s name. Clients hire the firm, and the work is done by whoever on the bench is free, qualified and not already carrying three engagements.
Bring your AI consultancy and its bench to iDharma.
List your consultants, take on AI engagements and earn commission on every invoice, in one firm workspace.
Our promise
“A consultancy is a team. So is its account.”
Your consultants sit under your firm, and every engagement, invoice and payout they touch is visible to you - one account, one record. Applying costs nothing, and a person reviews it.
Apply as a consulting partnerThe partnership, in three chapters
Most platforms were built for a single freelancer. Put a firm on one and it splinters: every consultant runs a separate account, bills separately and is paid separately, and the firm that found the client, vouched for the work and carries the reputation can see none of it.
A consulting-partner account puts the firm back on top. Your consultants sit under it, their availability and workload share one screen, projects run on milestones and logged hours, and the commission on every invoice they bill is paid to the firm, itemised and exportable.
Two desks. One firm.
Each consultant keeps their own login. The consultancy sits above them all.
- Firm profile - company, address, legal and social details
- The bench - consultants added, updated and removed
- The pipeline - projects, invitations, proposals, hires
- Commission - payouts per invoice, exported as CSV
- Own profile - skills and certifications kept current
- Availability - their calendar, overridable by the firm
- Logged hours - time recorded against each milestone
- Own payout - their share, less the firm’s commission
The firm holds the account. The bench does the work.
The firm, on the account
You hold the partner account. You add consultants to it, keep the firm's profile, address and legal details current, post projects or answer invitations, and decide who on the bench takes which piece of work. The client relationship sits with the firm, and so does the name on it.
The people doing the work
Each consultant you add confirms their own email before joining. They keep their skills and certifications current, log the hours they spend against each milestone, and are paid their own share of every invoice directly - less the firm's commission, which is paid to the firm as its own payout.
When a bench runs blind
Nobody decides to overbook a consultant. Two engagements land in one week, availability lives in someone's head, and the firm finds out from a missed milestone. Availability and workload for the whole team on one screen is how that gets caught before a client ever sees it happen.
“Each consultant can just sign up on their own.”
The client, the bench and the commission.
It is the reason this account type exists.
- Who it is for
- Boutique AI consultancies
- Data & ML studios
- AI governance advisers
- Systems integrators
- Fractional AI teams
Split rates are locked when a consultant is hired onto a project, so a later change to the defaults never reaches back into agreed work.
Payouts run through Stripe Connect: the firm connects its account once, and every commission carries a status you can track.
Every partner is reviewed by a person before going live, so the firms a client meets here have all been looked at by someone first.
Three questions. Then you’ll know.
No email, no signup. A starting point, not a decision.
Your fit check
Four moments, from apply to paid.
Approval is a review by a person, not a form that clears itself - so the time you spend waiting is best spent getting the firm’s profile ready.
-
Apply
Day oneCreate the firm's account as a consulting partner, then confirm your email address to open the workspace.
-
Reviewed
While you waitEvery application is reviewed by hand before it goes live. Fill in the firm profile and legal details meanwhile.
-

Once approvedAdd your consultants, set their availability and connect the firm's Stripe account that commission is paid to.
-
Billed
Every engagementMilestones, logged hours and invoices run per project, and the firm's commission is recorded on each payment.
Firms assume a change to the commission rates applies to work already underway. It does not - the split is locked when the consultant is hired, and a new rate reaches only the engagements agreed after it.
What a firm needs, what the account gives
12 jobs every consultancy has to do, and where the workspace does each. Paired, so every claim here can be checked against the account.
- A firm, not a freelancer One account that the whole team sits under
- A consulting-partner account with your consultants attached to it, rather than a row of unrelated freelancer profiles.
- A public firm profile Company information, address and social links
- A public profile page for the firm, kept current from the workspace, that clients can read before they invite you.
- Legal and identity details Who the firm is, on the record
- Legal details and identity verification held on the account, so a client is dealing with a firm that has been checked.
- Adding consultants Invited by the firm, verified by email
- Consultants added from the workspace, each confirming their own email address before they appear under your firm.
- Skills and certifications What each person can actually take on
- Profiles and certifications kept per consultant, so the person put forward for a project is the one qualified for it.
- Availability Who is free, and from when
- Team availability on one screen, with the firm able to override a consultant's availability when plans change.
- Workload How loaded each consultant already is
- A workload view across the team, so the next engagement goes to someone with room for it rather than to whoever answered first.
- Finding the work Projects, invitations and proposals
- Post projects, invite consultants, review proposals and hire - and answer the invitations that come to the firm.
- Running the work Milestones, tasks and meetings
- Every engagement broken into milestones and tasks, with meetings scheduled against the project rather than in a side inbox.
- Time on the record Hours logged against each milestone
- Logged hours per milestone that the firm can view and correct, so what is invoiced is what was actually worked.
- Getting paid Orders, invoices and payment history
- Orders and payment history in one place, from pending to paid, with the project and consultant named on every line.
- Commission The firm's share of every invoice
- Commission payouts itemised per invoice and per consultant, with earned and pending totals and a CSV export for your books.

Why consultancies bring their firm to iDharma
Built for a firm
The firm holds the account, and its consultants sit under it rather than beside it as strangers.
Reviewed partners only
Every consulting partner is checked by a person before the account goes live to clients.
Money on the record
Fees and commission are worked out per invoice and kept, not settled up later by email.
One place for the work
Team, projects, hours, invoices and payouts sit in one workspace, so nothing goes missing.
Four marks, on every partner account.
What you get
Built for a firm, not a freelancer - every screen named, so you know what lands before you apply.
Consulting-partner workspace
One account for the whole firm: your consultants listed under it, their availability and workload on one screen, projects and invitations in one pipeline, every engagement run on milestones, tasks and logged hours, and the firm's commission on each paid invoice recorded, itemised and exportable for your own books.
Consultant roster
Every consultant under your firm, with their profile, skills and certifications, added by you and verified by their own email.
Availability and workload
Who is free, who is loaded and from when, across the whole team on one screen - with the firm able to override availability.
Projects and proposals
Post projects, invite consultants, review proposals and hire, and follow every engagement from pending to completed.
Milestones and timesheets
Each engagement in milestones and tasks, with the hours logged against them that the firm can view and correct before billing.
Commission payouts
The firm's commission per invoice and per consultant, with earned, pending and this-month totals and a CSV export for the books.
Public firm profile
A public page for the consultancy - company information, address and links - that clients can read before they invite you.
Real numbers, upfront.
- To apply
- Free - reviewed by a person
- Platform fee
- A share of each paid invoice
- Your commission
- A share of each consultant's pay - paid to the firm, itemised per invoice
Rates are locked when a consultant is hired, so the split on a project never moves once the work is agreed.
Apply now- On every invoice your consultants bill
- Itemised per invoice and per consultant
- Paid out through Stripe Connect
- Exportable as CSV for your books
Four things a client will ask your firm to show
A good reputation is not a document. Each of these is either in the workspace on the day a client asks, or it is not.
The bench,
named
Who on the team is doing the work, what they are certified in and how loaded they already are - the firm's ready answer when a client asks "who exactly are we getting?"
The plan,
in milestones
The engagement broken into milestones and tasks the client can follow, so progress reads as a list of things done rather than a weekly status call.
The hours,
logged
Time recorded against the milestone it was spent on, viewable and correctable by the firm before anything at all is billed to the client on the strength of it.
The invoice,
itemised
What was billed, what was paid, the platform fee taken and the commission that reached the firm - one line per invoice, and exportable as a CSV for your books.
Four cards, all kept in the one workspace.
Plain answers
Who can join, what it costs, and how the firm gets paid. Answered straight.
Apply nowWho can apply to be a consulting partner?
Firms that deliver AI work with more than one consultant - consultancies, studios, integrators and advisory practices. A single independent consultant is better served by an ordinary consultant account.
How does approval work?
You create the firm's account and confirm your email. The account starts pending, and a person on our team reviews it before it goes live - we email you when it is approved. You can complete your firm profile meanwhile.
Does it cost anything to apply?
No. Applying is free. iDharma is paid through a platform fee on invoices your team bills on the platform, and the firm earns a commission on its consultants' share of each one.
How is the firm's commission worked out?
When a client pays an invoice, the platform fee comes off first. The firm then earns its commission as a percentage of the consultant's share - recorded per invoice, with rates locked when the consultant was hired.
How are payouts made?
Through Stripe Connect. The firm connects its own payout account once, and every commission after that is paid there, with its status - pending, processing or paid - visible in the workspace and exportable as CSV.
Become a consulting partner
It takes a few minutes to create the firm’s account, and we email you once it is approved.
What we need from you
Nothing you do not already have. Most of it is what your firm already puts on a proposal, and none of it is needed before you confirm your email and look around.
- Your firm's name, address and contact details
- The AI work you do, and who you do it for
- Legal details for the business that bills
- The consultants you would add to the firm
- A Stripe account for commission payouts
What happens next
- You create the account and confirm your email.
- We review the application, by hand.
- We email you the day you are approved.
Where this page gets its facts
Where the claims on this page come from, and what they are worth - stated, not assumed.
What it is drawn from
- The consulting-partner workspace itself
- The platform’s revenue-split settings
- Checked against the code
- 1 October 2026
- Rates shown
- Read live from settings
What it means
- A description of what a consulting-partner account does today - not a contract, and no partnership arises from reading it. Your terms are the ones you accept on applying.
- Where a feature is still being built, it is not on this page rather than described as if it were.
Scope & limitation
- The rates shown are the defaults - an agreed override or a locked rate can differ.
- Approval is a judgement made by a person, and no application is guaranteed.
- Tax and payout timing depend on your country and on Stripe, not on this page.
