Summary
Refunds depend on what you paid for. AI Audits are fully refundable up to 7 days before kickoff and non-refundable once delivered. Marketplace projects use Stripe escrow — money for incomplete milestones comes back to the Client; accepted milestones are settled through our dispute process. Subscriptions are billed in advance and non-refundable except where the law requires. To request a refund, email connect@idharma.us; approved refunds reach your original payment method in 5–10 business days.
01 What this policy covers
iDharma both sells AI Audits directly and operates a marketplace where Clients pay Consultants for project work. Because these are different kinds of payment, different rules apply to each. All refunds are issued through our payment processor, Stripe, to the original payment method. This policy works alongside our Terms of Use and Trust & Safety policy.
02 AI Audits
- Before work begins: cancel for a full refund up to 7 days before the scheduled kickoff, minus any non-recoverable third-party costs disclosed at purchase.
- After work begins: fees are earned in proportion to the work completed and deliverables provided. The unstarted portion may be refundable at our discretion.
- Completed audits: payment for a delivered audit report is non-refundable, because the deliverable is the assessment itself.
03 Marketplace project payments
Payments between a Client and a Consultant are tied to milestones and held in escrow via Stripe Connect:
- Funds held against a milestone are released when the Client accepts that milestone.
- If a project is cancelled before a milestone is completed, the held funds for the incomplete milestone are returned to the Client, less any amount the parties agree is owed for partial work.
- Amounts already released for accepted milestones are not automatically refundable and are handled through the dispute process below.
- iDharma never holds your funds directly — money sits with Stripe until it is released or returned.
04 Subscriptions & memberships
Where iDharma offers paid memberships or subscriptions, fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law. You may cancel at any time to stop future billing; your access continues until the end of the current billing period.

06 Non-refundable items
- Delivered AI Audit reports.
- Milestones already accepted by the Client (resolved via disputes, not automatic refund).
- Subscription periods already started, except where required by law.
- Third-party costs already incurred and disclosed at purchase.
07 Disputes
If you and the other party disagree about whether work was delivered, either party may open a dispute using the Platform's dispute tools. iDharma may hold the relevant funds while the dispute is reviewed and may direct their release based on the evidence and the parties' agreement.
